Thank you for shopping with My Friend The Sea LLC. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review the following policy carefully before placing your order.
Eligibility for Returns
Unopened, unused, and undamaged Salt Stone devices may be returned within fourteen (14) days of the delivery date, provided the item is in its original packaging with all accessories intact. To initiate a return, you must contact us at hi@myfriendthesea.com within the 14-day window to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”). Items returned without a prior RMA will not be accepted.
You are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund:
(a) Salt Stone devices that have been opened, used, tested, damaged, or modified;
(b) Salt packs, whether opened or unopened, due to the consumable and hygiene-sensitive nature of the product;
(c) Replacement parts and accessories; and
(d) Items purchased as part of promotional bundles or designated as final sale at the time of purchase.
Personal Respiratory Device - Hygiene Notice
The Salt Stone is a personal respiratory wellness device designed for individual use. Consistent with industry standards for personal inhalation and respiratory products (such as neti pots, nebulizers, and similar devices), opened, used, or tested Salt Stone units cannot be accepted for return or resold due to health, hygiene, and safety requirements. This policy exists to protect the health and safety of all customers.
Refund Process
Once your authorized return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the returned item. Please allow additional time for the refund to appear on your statement depending on your financial institution.

Defective or Damaged Products
If your Salt Stone arrives damaged during shipping or is defective upon receipt, please contact us at hi@myfriendthesea.com within fifteen (15) days of delivery with a description of the issue and photographic or video evidence.
We will evaluate all claims received within the 15-day Warranty Reporting Period. If we confirm a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, we will, at our sole discretion, provide a replacement unit or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs. Return shipping for confirmed defective or damaged items will be provided at our expense.
Claims submitted after the 15-day Warranty Reporting Period cannot be honored, as My Friend The Sea LLC cannot verify whether the issue resulted from a manufacturing defect or from subsequent use, misuse, or environmental factors. For full warranty terms, please refer to the Limited Warranty section of our Terms & Conditions.
Pre-Order Cancellations
If you placed a pre-order, you may cancel for a full refund at any time before your order ships by contacting us at hi@myfriendthesea.com. Pre-orders are charged in full at the time of order placement.
Once a pre-order has shipped, the standard return policy above applies.
In the event of a material delay exceeding thirty (30) days beyond the estimated ship date, you may cancel your pre-order for a full refund by contacting us at hi@myfriendthesea.com.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you wish to exchange a product, please initiate a return per this policy and place a new order.
